Scholarships

Private scholarships are offered by varying organizations and businesses and can help lessen the cost of your education. Any scholarships listed below are currently accepting applications. Please check back often for new listings. You may also qualify for scholarships offered through Gateway's Foundation and Alumni Association.

Women in STEM

The Women in STEM Scholarship Award is for women of any age and nationality, pursuing a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) degree program at an accredited university/college/institute, who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field are eligible. Online students are also eligible to apply if enrolled at an accredited university/college/institute. Students must be enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a Master’s program at the time the application is submitted to the Zonta Club of Milwaukee and must still be attending school at the time the scholarship funds are disbursed.

In addition, Zonta Club of Milwaukee applicants must either: (1) have legal residency in the six-county Greater Milwaukee Metro area while attending any accredited university, college or institute in the world or (2) be a full-time, out-of-state student attending an accredited university, college or institute in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Racine, or Kenosha counties

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business

The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Award is for women pursuing a business-related degree at an accredited university/college/institute who demonstrate outstanding potential in their field. Online students are eligible to apply if enrolled at an accredited university/college/institute. Students must be enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a Master’s program at the time the application is submitted to the Zonta Club of Milwaukee and must still be attending school at the time the scholarship funds are disbursed.
